Still no news. I was waitlisted on April 1st.

Guys, do you know what was the original deadline provided by CLS to addmitted applicants?

Silly question, can you please confirm that "by April 15" includes April 15 ? Or do we need to pay on April 14 ?

Thank you. I have this deadline for NYU. Columbia confirmed today that I will have a response before April15 so I assume it will be tomorrow... Wait and see !

Has anyone received a response today? I am still waiting for my financial aid decision. I have other upcoming deadlines tomorrow. My countdown has begun.

Dear All, I've started a separate thread for the admitted here: http://www.llm-guide.com/board/148364 For those who are still waiting, all the best and good luck!

My advice for those who are still waiting: send an email to the Dean for Graduate Legal Studies and explain your situation (whether you are waiting a decision on admission or financial aid). She is really kind and will answer you soon (sooner than the administrators of the general mail address). Good luck!

Only 4 more hours for my deadline and no news from Columbia! (They said they would get back to me today)

Looks like I will have to flip a coin...literally

Finally I received GREAT financial aid. More than I could ever imagine. However, I am declining the offer :(

In Georgetown the professors and faculty are just much more helpful and approachable. I think that truly makes the difference because those are the same people who are going to help you land a job. My advice: Go to the place where you have stronger, useful networks.

as a former LLM, I think that's crazy.

Waitlisted Friday. I noticed that this thread was conspicuously quiet and wanted to let everyone know that there is clearly some activity still occurring in regards to the class of 2016.

I frankly have no idea about how the waitlist at Columbia works and wouldn't mind some feedback from prior applicants. Do many students on the list normally get offers?

Thanks
