I wasn't able to be considered for the early review, since I just finished a Post-Graduation course on November 24, 2011. I sent all the documents in October, but this missing transcript only in early December; as a result, I will be considered for the regular cycle.

no worries. my friend now studying in columbia told me early review admitted only constitutes a very small portion. there is enough positions for normal circle.

I think there may be some sort of misunderstanding on behalf of those writing that they are not receiving financial aid from CLS.

To my knowledge, decisions on financial aid have not been taken by CLS, but they intend to start doing so early next year. Therefore, no mention of financial aid in the letters you have received, probably has no bearing on your possibility to receive financial aid. If anyone has a different understanding, I would like to hear from them.

In the latest e-mail I received from CLS, they state the following:

"We hope to make financial aid decisions early next year and will notify you as soon as we have made a decision on your application."

Therefore it seems that those admitted, should not be in despair because of financial matters, at least not yet ;)

Unfortunately, my admission email contains such explicit wording as "we are unable to offer you financial assistance". Hope others have better luck on this.

I think, by 24th Dec. all the results for early bird will be declared. This is on the presumption that from 25th the whole of US will be celebrating Christmas and the winter vacations will be on.
