Hi all,
for those who have applied for CLS early review: does anyone already received their notification e-mail saying that the application is complete?
If yes, when did you applied?
Thanks!

Hi,
Submitted application in the end of September and received email on Oct 27, that my application is complete.
Any idea what the earliest date they start releasing decisions for early review?

Hi all,
I applied for early review and completed my application on the deadline.
I have not received a decision yet.
I am interested in hearing if anyone has.

I received an e-mail from Columbia on 30 November informing me that my application had been received (I was actually a bit late in submitting it, i.e. 31 October) and stating that they noted my wish to have my application assessed under the early review program. They proceeded to mention that I would be contacted "by the end of December" when they have made their decision. So I am currently awaiting their decision.
As it seems from earlier posts in this thread, they have already sent out at least one "informal" offer of admission. However, I think I will try to stay calm at least until we reach closer to the end of December.
Best regards,
Kjuris

Hi guys,
I applied to Columbia for Early Review too. I sent my application sometime around October 31, shortly before the deadline, and I received an email informing me that my application was complete roughly a week later.
I just heard from Columbia today - they are deferring me to the regular admission cycle. =(
Anyone knows what my chances are? I'm glad it wasn't an outright no; I'm honestly not really expecting to get in. But I really want to go to Columbia. =(

Hey, can you share your credentials. Just to have the admission criteria. All the best for the regular cycle though. I am waiting for the early review too.

Hmm I worked as a litigation lawyer in a top local firm for a year and two months and am currently working in my country's central bank. I graduated with a 2-1 degree from the National University of Singapore (I'm Singaporean). I had pretty spectacularly bad results in my first two years but did a lot better in my last two years and was on the Dean's List in my final year.
Honestly I don't think my credentials are very strong so in some sense I'm slightly relieved that I haven't been rejected yet. On the other hand, I really want to go to Columbia. SIGH.
All the best to you. Where are you from?

I am from India. Good to know you are from Singapore. I worked with a law firm there for a year. I hope I get through, I can understand being from litigation background, Columbia is one of the top choices.

I want to go to Columbia mostly for its human rights programme and also because it's in NYC. Are you a litigation lawyer? How long have you been practising?
