Not yet. I heard from a friend who was admitted to CLS in 2008 that they should send the decision email before Christmas, with the original package to follow around new year.

last year and the year before everybody knew by know...early review decisions are really late this year

This wait is ridiculously painful. I have developed an unfortunate obsession with checking emails. Please Columbia put us out of our misery.

FYI I received this last night:

We regret to inform you that after careful consideration of your application for admission to our LL.M. Program, the admissions committee has concluded that we are unable to offer you admission. To date this year's applicant pool is the most highly qualified in our history. Competition for admission has never been more keen.

May I ask when you received your email from CLS re application complete? I haven't heard anything from them yet (notified of app complete in early Nov). Getting a bit anxious...

I handed in my application end of October but my LSAC report reached CLS only mid/end of November. So my application was complete at a rather late date.

Just to let you know that I got accepted to Columbia. I received a call from the dean today! I am really excited, waiting for other universities as well. Any questions feel free to ask.

I unfortunately have to wait a few more months as, unfortunately, I didn't make the early action deadline. I'm hoping that there will be a decent number of spots open for the regular cycle and that I get in. Fingers crossed.
