Columbia decisions

L&E-pil

Hello everyone,
Would be grateful if you could help me out.
I'm currently a final year law student who has applied to the CLS LLM Program. I know a lot of people who have got offers from CLS. I have, however, not received any email from CLS yet.
What does this mean?
Thanks guys.

It just means that your application has not been reviewed yet. You should know that Columbia has not only sent admissions to many people, but rejections as well. They won't hide it from you, if you're rejected. So, as long as you don't hear from them, you're still in the game.

Hey everyone. Has any of you received a deferral in the early application process and then received an admission or rejection decision? I received my deferral mail on 27 December and since then, no positive or negative signs whatsoever. Nerve wrecking to say the least.

I got admitted to CLS some hours ago.

FYI: I applied to CLS in the regular circle close to the 15 December deadline.

Best of luck to those still waiting.

I got it! The letter was sent by CLS to me on March 07. So excited! I have been waiting for so long. I will apply for deferral and go there next year. Wish every one good luck!

Is Columbia sending one e-mail per day!? Seriously, it seems like it takes forever! By the way, is anyone applying for Columbia interested in the human rights program?

I applied to the Human Rights program, was admitted in January, but still no word from the Human Rights Fellowship. Does anyone know whether the financial aid decisions are final? Are they likely to change as the student body forms later on?

Still waiting.....I've been admitted as well in other universities but I prefer by far Columbia because I'm interested in arbitration and it is the best university in this area.
Let's hope for the best!

Quite a surprising statement... NYU is top 1 for human rights stuff; you cannot attend a human rights conference without Alston being cited and the opportunities they provide both during and after the LL.M. are wonderful.

I didn't expect I'd be in the luxureous position of having to choose between both law schools, but the argument holding me back from being unconditionally seduced by CLS is exactly the international human rights law program of NYU.
