I just got my admission email for Columbia LLM last night! (Not on early review) Has anyone else? My application for an associates-in-law position is pending.

Hope to see you in NY in August!

I submited my application online on Dec 15th, and my additional papers (transcripts, letters, etc) the same date.by mail. I got an email from the GLS yesterday letting me know that my application is completed and it will be reviewed. I am very surprised how fast they processed your application since you sent it very close to the deadline. When did you were notified that your application was completed ? Please, let me know. Thank you and congrats!

As I said, my application went complete on the 28th of December.

What I can tell you though is that the admissions procedure in Columbia is almost random. Admissions are done on a rolling basis, and depending on where your application ends up physically on the pile of documents will determine when a decision will be made on your file.

Best of luck. Don't be worried if you haven't got a decision yet, because the process goes on until April.

I also received an offer of admission from Columbia by email dated 22 December 2006 and subsequent letter. I did not apply for early review, but was advised that my application was processed as an early review. The lesson for those following is that there can be advantages to applying early (my application was in by 10 November 2006).

Hi. I would like to apply for a LLMM in the US and so I'm looking for good advice from anyone here. Apart from the letters of recommendation sent to Universities through the LSAC system, shall I send other type of letters or any additional papers to the Universities by separate mail?
Do I have to do only the application and LSAC sends all the papers? If someone could give a hint over the whole or any recommendation.Thank you for your kindness.

No deadline for the deposit was specified. Columbia advised that it would send a "formal admission package" in the New Year, and I would expect to be advised of deposit details at that time. Haven't yet received the package.

Just got my admissions package. Nothing new as compared to the website, but still nice to have something tangible. It was sent by FedEx, so everybody who has been admitted should be receiving one soon.
