Just received an admission email from CLS. They told that "this years applicant pool is the largest and one of the most highly qualified in our history".

Some news to CLS waitlisted people - I do not think that I will be going, so my place will be potentially free.

Hey, I got similar e-mail last night but as I live quite far from NY, they just ask me to e-mail them telling my current work situation. Let's keep our fingers crossed.

I was admitted and decided to enroll to Columbia. I was trying to deal with housing application etc. and wanted to know whether there is an admitted students facebook page / forum for this year to discuss these topics??

I just received my admission package and am really confused. There's no mention of the date by which I must confirm the offer and make the first deposit. It just states housing application deadline is May 15. Does it mean that May 15 is the deadline for confirming the offer?

Also, the letter states that financial aid decisions are yet to be made. Any idea by when they'll declare fin. aid results or if someone has already received it. I'll be grateful if someone could help me with this.

I am in the same situation. Was accepted a few weeks ago but waiting to hear about financial aid. Been told no action required until I receive that email, which will also tell me the date by which the first deposit cheque is required. Did others hear about financial aid already?

Hey, usually the financial aid info is in the admission email. If you didn't get any (like me), the admission email doesn't talk about financial aid.
