I thank you for your answer.
Anyone else would go for the brand name against a possibility of great contacts?

To Cindy: I would agree with Mandingo. You have to bear in mind that Georgetown has a really big LL.M. program. It means that there are plenty of people with similar plans of applying to an international organization. It's like going to Hollywood and wanting to be an actress. If you want to work in the States, or even in an international organization, I believe Harvard has, along with Yale and Stanford (after all they are called the Trinity in the US), such a magnificent reputation that your job hunt will be easier with a Harvard diploma. It might be different if Harvard would be especially weak on international law, but it is not. Quite the contrary. I say you can turn down UPenn or U.VA for Georgetown, but not Harvard.

i'm also thankful for your insight, tmalmine . It has addressed a core issue involved in the sharp discernment of convenient law schools; and the same i'm bound to say about the rest of these threads.
