dont know what to think. not good for any schools marketing.
That's the cruel reality, but I believe things are going in the good direction.

If it is really the real thing, then I guess I have no regrets!

I'm in!!!!

Rejected. :(
I'm really scared now... Don't know if other Law school will have the same result for me...
Don't worry. We can never be sure what specifics each law school is looking for. I have been waitlisted by Chicago but accepted by Columbia and Cambridge. So you never know - I'm sure there will be some school just right for you! :)
Thanks for assuring that there is hope... :)
Don't worry!! I was rejected by Chicago but accepted by Cambridge! Haha! Go figure. No skin off my nose. So chin up people, I think being accepted in these places is so arbitrary/subjective. Each is probably looking for a different quality.... Things work out :)

a classic question georgetown vs LSE vs chicago?
and when do you think stanford and berkeley will declare the results?

I am part of the standby group.
I will wait a few days, but I will probably say to Richard that I am not interested anymore. Very little chance to get in and a long wait. For now, I think I will go to LSE.
Congrats to those admitted and good luck to all!

Chicago all the way. Also over Berkeley. Gtown better only for financial regulatory. Between Chicago and LSE, LSE doesn't stand a chance. But then, you are asking in a Chicago LLM thread;) Stanford, top, especially in IP.

If you are keen to go to Chicago, don't give up! There will be lots of people like me who have been admitted there and to other universities as well - some of us are sure to reject Chicago. I suggest leaving your options open for as long as you can.

On the Standby Group. Anything we can do to improve our chances ?
And "realistically" by when can we know about our decision ?

Nandakumar, I'm on the Standby Group as well...I don't think there's anything we can do to improve our chances at this point...our best shot, I think, is if someone from the same country and similar background as us gives up their spot...I'm not too keen on being the second option, but I'll definitely forget about that the second I receive an acceptance e-mail! Let's hope! :)

Hey guys. I have a question: NYU or Chicago? Or for that matter: UPenn or Chicago?
Never thought this is the kind of dilemma I would be facing :)) Good luck to all who've applied, and congratulations to the people offered admission!!
