Me too. He said that approximately 730 applications have been received and checked, and they wil make their decisions now based on making the whole group more ''interesting'' and ''diverse'' .

Chicago colleagues,
I have created a Chicago 2012 Group on google and facebook!! (I had to defer last year due to a skiing accident). I can't wait until I meet you all.
Google Group: deleted
Facebook Group:
only for accepted students
Let me know if it works, else drop me a personal message and I ll send you an invitation. Let's start early with the challenging Chicago experience.
Looking forward to meet you all soon.

So... just one weekend to go... for the decisions to come!
I seem to be getting Professor Badgers mails with a couple of days delay. So, I just wanted to check with you whether you received his third mail explaining the notification procedures already?
Thanks!

Mr. Badger has sent out a characteristically kind group e-mail stating that the snowstorm in Chicago shut the University down the last couple of days (!) but he will be starting to send out responses this afternoon.

yeap...
According to Richard all the decisions should be sent out in a week. While I keep the fingers crossed I got really terrified by the weather in Chicago...

One more thing in the email (for the guys who haven't received it, if there are):
"There will be three types of messages: admission, the standby group (waiting list), and deny. I will start with the applications which were completed first back in late October and then move in chronological order by weeks based on the date of completion."
So, if someone has a late date of completion (id est january or february), he'll have to wait a little bit longer
(By the way, Dean Badger is very kind to send those emails to keep us informed, very few universities do things like that !)

Has anybody received ANY email?
Posted Feb 09, 2011 03:40
Well, if by any you mean M. Badger's email, yes.
If not, no.
I have to say Chicago's way of dealing with the admission process for LLM students is great. I don't know if they take such care of their LLM students once they're in, but it's most appreciable.
Good luck everyone.

Finally we received the last group email (I really appreciate the way how Chicago processes the LL.M. application). Fingered crossed for all of us!
