So are all admitted candidates getting e-mails first, and then ShortList, and then deny?

How do you know that?
Posted Feb 09, 2011 22:09
the admitted candidates receive an email. I do not know the other process, but I think (no guarantee) wait-listed candidates get an email as well, followed by "unfortunately we cannot offer you a place" email. Again, I can only talk about the admittance email, which we received a few hours ago.

No, I don't think so. As I've written before, Badger said :
"There will be three types of messages: admission, the standby group (waiting list), and deny. I will start with the applications which were completed first back in late October and then move in chronological order by weeks based on the date of completion."
==> Meaning he'll send answers based on date of completion, and each answer can be admission, waitlist, or deny.
So if your file was completed early, you'll get an answer (positive or negative) earlier
If it was completed later, etc.
----
Edit : Alive, when was your application sent and/or complete ?

I also thought they'd be sending out admissions decisions based on completion date, as Mr. Badger said.

Hey guys,
to those who received a decision (whatever the outcome), could You please specify your date of completion? So that the ones who haven't heard back yet can make an assumption as to when a decision might come...
Kind regards

I'm in! Just received Mr. Badger's e-mail. Chicago's admission process is definitely to be followed by other schools, they proved to be extremely efficient and organized. Good luck everyone!

Little question, just by curiosity: how did LSAC "rate" you? Above average or Superior ?

Above average... which I found unfair due to the fact that I am ranked 9th out of 475 students in my first degree in law
