Congratulations to you all. I was notified admission on February 6th. I already provided them with my address to get the formal letter and full package but have not received them. Has anyone? I am really considering to go to Chicago. A class of less than 50 can be a really amazing experience.

Hi All:
I have been admitted to Chicago too. I know 50 sounds really good - nice and exclusive!
But has anyone applied to financial aid in response to Dean Badger's admission e-mail and received a response (+ve or -ve) - I haven't heard a thing (I had responded at the end of January) - Has ANYONE heard anything from him on this? Thanx

His mail says he will be dropping a line when the full package is sent "in a few weeks". What really impressed me is that they do not accept deposits but just your word to secure the position. On the other hand, taking care of 50 people is easier than working with 200 to 400. Its only defect, for me, is that it is not in NYC.

I will be in Chicago during the next week and will go to the University. I think that I will accept the offer. Chicago is a great and challenging university.

I think they will send out the materials end of March. Hope it helps!

I also was admitted in Chicago, but I prefer to be in NYC, although I think that being 50 students is a great privilege.

I also like the small size of the program compared to 200 or 400 students...

I've been wondering how to choose between NYU and Chicago. I love the idea of 50 persons, Socratic method, my way of seeing Law and analyzing everything is pretty much Law & Economics, but NYU is also strong in corporate law and the summer program at Stern seems like a great opportunity... :S Is anyone else making a pro / con list?

there is a summer program at the chicago gsb as well. but i cannot tell you if the programs are comparable.

Hi all,
has anyone received any rejections? and are decisions made on a rolling basis or has the university already notified everyone who was accepted? i.e. those who did not receive an admission offer are rejected.
thanks,
ECA

ECA: Chicago decides on a rolling basis. I know people who have been rejected as well. So dont worry. No news is still good news ;-)

Hi everybody,
congrats those of you who got accepted. Can I ask when you sent in your applications? I sent in mine mid Dec and have not received any word from them yet. I'm going to NYU but would still wish to find out if infact I got accepted/rejected by Chicago. Thanks!
