BU Tax LLM - how long to make decision?

phisher

Does anybody have any experience with how long it takes BU to make a decision for tax LLM admissions? Their website says a decision is usually made within two weeks of receiving all admissions materials, but my app was complete and arrived at BU in November... still waiting on a decision.

I've checked with them and all I am told is that it has been sent to review.

Is that normal or has everyone else been getting quick responses?

Hey Annu,

Its great that you have got admission in BU as well as UPENN. Did you have any interview scheduled with Boston. I have an interview tomorrow so can you please guide me with the probable questions asked in the interview? And let me know from where in India you belong?

Hi all who are going to BU Law,
I am going back home after graduation and want to sublet my room from June 2009.
My room is in a shared house of 7 rooms, furniture, located at 83 Linden Street (very convenient for public transports leading directly to BU Law). This famous house is leased every year only to BU Law students. You will not be disappointed.
For more details, please contact me at sithongc@yahoo.fr .
Thanks and have a nice day,

Anyone know if it's more competitive to get into the Tax LLM or Banking LLM program at BU this year because of what's going on in the economy? I applied to both programs 3 weeks, and just yesterday got an email that my applications are complete, but nothing else. I gather that in other years I'd be a reasonably strong candidate (top 20% T100 school, currently a 3L w/ good tax & bankruptcy prof recommendations).

Any info appreciated.

i applied to the american law program at BU... my application was complete around 3rd week of january and i've not heard from them... from what i gather, they have a lot of applicants, thus the admissions process is a bit slow...
