Anyone know if this interview is required to all applicant or only to a few selected applicant? and anyone know which questions I should expect ?

My email says:
'The processing of your application is virtually complete. We would like the opportunity to speak with you as a final step in our process. This will allow you to ask us questions that you may have as well.
We schedule interviews Monday-Friday from 900PM (Boston, Eastern Standard Time). The interview usually lasts about 20 minutes. Please email us at least three dates and times over the next few weeks that you will be available to speak with us.'
Do you know which questions they generally do?

That sounds extremely promising! I don't know what kind of questions they ask no, but I am hoping for an interview myself, so would you mind sharing on here after your call?

I am applying for the spring llm in boston and fall llm in NYU

No I am not currently in US.

My interview will be on Skype, I am a foreign student.

My first choice will be Nyu, if they take me, but actually I don't know how much time I have to think on it.

I am applying right now at NYU and I know that they will start to review application after the 15th of this month.

Wow - for spring 2016 that's going to have to be a real quick turnaround with visas etc! I guess that's why you won't have much time to think.

I applied to NYU also: I've heard that decisions are given around March time.

You didn't want to apply to BU for Fall, then?

I will decide after the interview probably.

I know that once you are admitted they immediately proceed with your Visa. BU is very well organize and I think it is a very good school.

If I don't pass the interview I will try again in Fall.

How long did it take BU to review your file and schedule an interview from the date you apply, if you don't mind sharing this?

My interview was fine and the day after (Friday) they sent me an email with the scholarship and the admission.

So they take me!!

The interview was on why I have chose BU and they asked me on my work in Italy.

I applied for Bu on 27 of November.

Oh and I have been admitted to Fall 2016 because they told me that is too late for Spring 2016, and also for the Visa.

I think that the standard scholarship is 10.000.

They offered me 15.000. It is not so much but is better than nothing.
