I would say professors are always looking for someone, usually at the beginning of each semester and the summer. Some professors will have as many as 3 to 4 RAs. There is no application process per se, you pretty much just ask a professor you have had a class with or so forth. Since you have yet to meet any professors, I would talk to Prof. Hurley. I bet he will hook you up if he can.

To Qing, I believe you must be asking about the BU ID and password to access to BU off-campus housing website. Regarding to the BU account, I have already written to their office to inquire into the registration stuffs, and they replied to me that the registration was supposed to begin within these two weeks, so we'll see.
To Tony, welcome to join us!!!
To dear all, have you submitted the course selection form? Grant, could you please provide more information on the faculties and the courses they teach, as you already spent quite a long time at BUSL. Personally, I think the introduction of curriculum appears somewhat generic.
Thank you very much!!
Best regards,
Ming

To Grantman:
Hi,
I have just received an e-mail with the books which are recommendable for reading. I am coming from non-common law system country so would you recommend me some books to become more familiar with common law system? Especially those which you have been taugh in BU.
Thanks in advance!
Regards

Hello Again Guys,
Has anyone finished their course selection? I am having some trouble deciding between the Central Banks Course and the Commercial Lending Course, any ideas or suggestions?
By the way is anyone attending CELOP? How is it?

Hey,
I tried to post this days ago but apparently it didn't work so sorry about the delay.
Ming: None of the professors for the banking program teach in the JD program so I don't know anything more about them then you do. The only thing I have heard is that Stuart Fross is really good.
Mariya: I have no idea about any book to recommend you. The JD program doesn't teach the common law system from a book or anything like that, you just pick it up over the course of your first year and I do not recommend reading first year case books. I'm sure something exists out there, I just don't know what it is but I bet someone in the office of foreign programs does. Sorry I can't be more helpful than that.

Hello
My name is Maruquel and I am from Panama, right now I am attending the CELOP and I will be your classmate for the program, sorry but I just found out about this board.
I´ve been living here for three month and now I am moving for other apartment without furniture, so Grant, I am looking for nice things, specially a bed, so If we can arrange something to see it I will be very thankful.
