Hi suzie1588! I also applied to the traditional track LL.M.

My guess is that the decisions will come in April since they closed the applications on January 10 and last year they were one of the last Universities to send out their decisions.

Were just gonna have to be patient.

The timing is so tricky. I hate to be sitting on acceptances from great programs while waiting to hear back from other places where I may not get in. It just clogs the system for all of us...I only applied to schools that I would absolutely love to attend but I would withdraw all my other applications if a certain program would accept me right now.

Received an email asking me if I was interested in being considered for the Professional Track. Looks like they are still busy with the Professional Track applications.

Hello all!

Would anyone know of any instance when LSAC misplaced an LoR? My recommendation for Berkeley was mailed to LSAC before the deadline but my account shows it as missing. And so my report to Berkeley hasn't been forwarded. I mailed LSAC about the situation but I haven't received a response yet. All I get are automated mails every week informing me that Berkeley has sought a report and that one of my LoRs is missing.

Hey!

This happened to me as well - LSAC lost my LoR!

My recommender provided me with the tracking codes and it showed that the LoR indeed reached LSAC. Emailed LSAC about it and got a response after 3 business days and two emails in. Tracking code shows letter received by LSAC on 17 Dec.

Since Berkeley's deadline was approaching, LSAC's solution was to provide them with a scan copy via email OR to send fax, in which case I chose the email route. Fortunately, the recommender (my boss at work) has no problem about issuing another letter for me to scan and send.

LSAC then emailed me again several times acknowledging receipt via their automated system and also a personal note from one of the admins apologising and thanking me for my patience. Luckily, the LoR made it just in time and the Berkeley checklist page registered it as received.

So my advice to you is keep on sending LSAC emails and ask for solutions from them.

Best of luck to you on your app as well!

Hi Kats K,

I agree with GP1981. LSAC didn't acknowledge receipt of one of my LORs for days after it actually reached them (I'd tracked it). When I called them, they told me they'd check and get back to me, and it was listed as registered the next day.

I had the same problem concerning MY LOR to Berkeley. The LOR was mailed and received by LSAC, but the form was missing. I sent LSAC an scanned copy of the form signed by my recommender, a professor of mine.

@Gotham, that's great news! Applications could be under review for a month or more but I hope you hear soon.

Did you apply for the thesis option or coursework? Also, did you apply for any certification?

I read that they started making decisions on 19 March last year.

Mine went under review yesterday but I understand that invitations to admit are usually made in April which is after the date of first deposit for other schools (Columbia, Duke, Georgetown etc.).

My app status reads "ready for review". It's been at this stage for over a month now. Is anyone else in the same boat?
