Hello guys,
Does the tuition payment is made in two parts, right? (one this year and the second one next year).
As I supposed the most of you dont live in the U.S, how are you planning to make the payment? open a bank account in the US? transfer directly?

I did not want to open a new thread for my question, so I'm writing in the last year's.
In the LSAC's application to Berkeley, there are sections such as "Media & Social Networking" with questions like "List up to three English language newspapers, magazines, or other print publications you read most often" and "Law School Interest" section with the question of "Are you applying, or have you applied, to other law schools? If so, please list them." Does anyone know what is the purpose of these questions, and (since providing answers is not mandatory) whether they should be answered - especially the one requiring to list the schools we have applied to?

I answered them. They didn't hurt my application. I think in some ways they may want to see what schools they are in "competition" with regarding the schools question.
I think it may also help them judge your reading level possibly by what print publications you may read. It could also be a way to discern your political philosophy. Berkeley is a very "liberal" school in the sense of politics. Don't confuse liberal with tolerant though as the Berkeley campus isn't very tolerant if you don't believe in their social/political world view.
If you don't worship at the altar of only "white people" can be racist, or don't believe in "white privelege", socialism, communism or absolutely adore the idea of gay and lesbian marriage, then Berkeley might not be the right school for you.
