Berkeley Prof vs Northwestern General llm

Hy everyone! I really need help in deciding which of these two programs would be best for me. Please help me decide which program would be most suitable for my aspirations:

1. I want to transfer to JD after my LLM, at a top university!
2. I am interested in constitutional, international and public law more than corporate law but I would not call it a deciding factor.
3. Which of these two universities is more reputed?

If anyone can help me with this decision I would be very grateful.
Thank you!

1. You realize not all schools let LLMs transfer to JD, right? You will have to apply for a JD just like any other candidate to get in, if there is no transfer policy.

2. Both Berkeley and Northwestern are great schools, however, the Professional LLM at Berkeley won't let you take most public law courses that are offered through the academic year. I would go for NW General or Berkeley Academic (not Prof).

Yes you're right only some schools allow a transfer and I would still need to give the LSAT for it. I am hoping I can give it in october after I finish my first semester at berkeley.

This is why I'm confused because the professional track is not very distinguished and I don't know if it is well reputed enough to give me the 'edge' I need to make it to those rare transfer programs.

Ive read in this forum about NW's corporate law programs but never about the public law courses. I thought berkeley was more distinguished in this regard.
