Berkeley or Columbia

For someone looking to work in the US post-LLM in academia or in a law-firm or NGO, which university is better? I know this is somewhat dependant upon subjective preferences but I am still interested in hearing what people think.
Thanks

Although NYC is kinda busy, hustley and bustley place. Sometimes annoying and after all the city that never sleeps. In my opinion, I would choose Columbia. Berkeley, on the other hand located in a much better place ( environmentally, however ; Columbia's program is more selective. Columbia is in the top 4.

Forgive my unorganized reply, I did not sleep well and still working on some due papers. I think it is a personal choice. But, I would choose Columbia if I were in your place ( unless I have fully paid scholarship from Berkeley or better financial position).

Really? Reputation wise I've always thought Berkeley was ahead of Columbia and it places higher in the Times rankings.

no doubt you should go to Columbia.
Berkeley is a good law school, but never been recognized as a top 4 law school. On the contrary, Columbia is in the 4th, same as Chicago. It's also an Ivy League university.

The location are both great. I would say it depends what kind of person u are. NYC is an amazing place to live. You can have great cultural experiences.

Finding a job is difficult whether you decide to go to Columbia or Berkeley! LL.Ms are in clear disadvantage compared to JDs. I'd pick Berkeley over Columbia, because it's a more friendly environment. Good luck!
