Does anybody have any news on Berkeley ?

I have received a letter from Berkeley by mail yesterday, stating that I was placed on their waiting list. However, as I was not interested in the offer anymore I wrote them an e-mail withdrawing my application from further review.

Thanks a lot for this info, and also for withdrawing your application (this is very kind for the other applicants).

I declined my offer of admission from Berkeley last April 6. Some new slots should be open soon.

I guess it will depend on your application to Stanford...

I will probably take their offer.

I have called stanford to check my application status, and the lady have implied that my chance to be admitted is small. I think I will have to go Berkeley, if I want to go US this year.

Any way, going to Berkeley is far beyond my expectation. I think I will enjoy studying copyright and entertainment law there.
