This is my personal opinion, but in my country AU and BU are really not very known to pursue an LL.M. NYU on the other hand has a great brand name.
When considered, I would pick NYU if I could fund the entire LL.M. myself, because of the great name (and the big difference with AU and BU, although they are without a doubt also good).

NYU - better long term investment.

This is also my personal opinion.
One of my law professors who finished AU LLM with full tuition waiver (he has US$35000) and continue to take the CA bar and passed it.
Now he's a full time law professor in my alma mater and he's pursuing his PhD.
I think if you'll move back to your home country when you got the LLM, this scholarship shouldn't be wasted, but if you really need to stay in NY, this is another story, but bearing in mind that US market won't be picking up soon.

I'm not too sure if this helps, but if you are already in the law firm, check with them. Seems a waste of the $25k scholarship to assume prestige matters if you already work there without checking first. That said, if there were no scholarship, NYU is no doubt the place to go between the three (and BU behind it, but only just).
