I'm a foreign student and I've just got an offer from UC Hastings. But I've been reading and everybody says that it's really tough and very competitive. So I'm hesitant and thinking of going to Penn State instead.
Please feel free to share your experience. Every piece of information would be very appreciated.
Thanks.
Anybody went to Hastings and did not graduate?

Hey there,
I just graduated from Hastings' LL.M. program, and although the program is tough, you will find a lot support from Prof. Lois Schwartz from the Legal Writing and Research Time. She is like a mother to all of the LL.M. students. She will set up workshops to help you with your final exams, which are extremely helpful. And she is always willing to help us out any time during the course.
Moreover, the professors at Hastings are very approachable and you should meet with them at their office's hours if you have any question about the subject. Hastings also have an Academic Support Time where you can go if you need extra help.
So, the bottom line is if you are committed to study you will do well and graduate. I think all LL.M. programs in the US are kind hard since the system is so different from where we came from, and what the school expect from us.
Good luck,
M
