Where are you from and what program were you accepted in? Are you going to attend this fall for sure?

I'm taking LL.M. at SMu this Fall, but not majoring in tax.

I am going to SMU this Fall. My papers were turned in early December. Does anybody know when do they normally contact/inform foreign applicants about their admissions?

SMU is a good school; located in a good setting. I visited the school last year and was offered 8000; they seems to be quite resourceful and objective in their decision to provide funds. I believe they have a couple of full scholarships available for international students. all deserving candidates should insiste upon scholarship decision before making up their find finally.

I sent them an e-mail asking about the current status of my application. They replied that my file was complete and with the addmission committee. I hope it's a good sign:)

why do you consider Dallas "not exciting"? do you mean the school or the city?

I mean the city...but I have as well applied for fall admissions.

I am waiting for the answers, I have applied for Uva, Berkeley and University of Illinois

My close friend graduated from Berkeley (JD). She got employed in the US (Washington DC) afterwards.

That's what they say about NY bar. I stick with SMU. My close friends live in TX so SMU is my first call and priority.
