Is having an LL.M in International Law necessary in the U.S.. Do I really need to get it to distingiush myself from the compitition or is my J.D. already good enough for me to land a good job.

Thanks

I think that multiple languages, legal training in multiple jurisdictions, friends in many countries, and multiple bar admissions can all be useful. An LLM is likely only useful to that end. In the US, an LLM will provide a degree of differentiation for clients and co-workers, but your JD will do most of the work.
