I got an e-mail yesterday stating I had been admitted to the LLM (general studies), has anyone else had that happen?
Are you going to attend Georgetown??

Me too, got an e-mail today from the Graduate Admissons/Ms Sims saying that I've been accepted. I have applied also to some other schools so I'll wait and see how it goes and then decide. You?
I'm also a little doubtful how well regarded Georgetown is, e.g. how well known it is in Europe... at least compared to schools such as Columbia, Harvard, Stanford etc. I'm thinking is it worth it (considering the costs). Opinions??

i have a good gpa from my law school- great recommendations-internship in a top law firm- i volunteer at the pro bono program in my country-i have been a research and teaching assiatant- 2 years of experience as a lawyer- i am enrolled in a one year llm program in financial law

what are my chances in your opinion?

VERT, I got an admission letter by post as well in addition to the e-mail. Nice package they sent us, looks good! However, I'll also wait and see how it goes with my other applications... keeping fingers crossed :)

ive applied in the regular stream and just received the application (status) complete mail. its says after the status changes to 'decision' from 'complete' i will be intimated after the change.

A 'Decision' has been made on my application. Status just changed last night.

Will I only be able to get the decision via air mail? I was rejected by them last year, when I applied in my final year of law school, so doubt I will get in this year to be honest.

My application was complete on the 20th of November, and was within the Early Action deadline.

If so, how long after a 'decision' status did those who were admitted get an email from G-Town?
