I was admitted to BU. Waiting for Stanford and Berkeley. Btw, did anyone accept anything from Stanford ? They sent the confirmation e-mail, but they didn't retrieve my grades from LSAC...

Had applied towards the end of November and heard back by the end of Jan. Maybe with the holidays it took longer.
Still waiting to hear from some one on this forum which institution is better for banking/securities from BU, Fordham and USC (with a 10k scholarship)

I think the program at Fordham is better if you want to find a job in the US, also saying that faculty staff is great!

Update on the above question: Did anyone get an answer from Stanford, Harvard or Yale concerning admission? I received admission from Columbia, but I am still waiting for the other ones.

Hi,
I was wondering if anyone can explain the admission criteria of BU and Fordham.
Is it possible to get accepted with regular grades (no honours) and no so good class standing but with good and relevant work experience in the banking field?
Thank you

I don't know about Stanford, but as far as Harvard and Yale is concerned I'd say that no way are we going to hear from them before the 15th of March. Harvard usually sends out decisions around the 20th of March and Yale 7-10 days earlier. Consequently, now it's too early. We'll have to wait for one month.
By the way, since you're from Switzerland you'd be delighted to learn that you stand good chances of being accepted to Yale. Yale has proven to send admissions to many Swiss students over the last years (a quick look in previous threads about Yale, will prove this claim). It's probably the quality of Swiss universities that counts...

Hi CR,
I´m not sure about the admission criteria BU and Fordham have. But I can tell you about my own experience.
Even though I graduated with honors in one of my classes my grade was a D and I was admitted to BU, Fordham and UVA.
I think that if you have relevant work experience and have been involved in extracurricular activities you have a great chance to be admitted.
