I was wondering if someone could give me an indication of my chances of getting into the LLM at Columbia or NYU. I understand from posts elsewhere on this site that in terms of getting a job these schools would be my best option, given that my goal is to sit the NY bar, and I'd like to study in NYC.

I have a UK LLB (First class) and a Masters in International Finance. I've been working for 5 years in Finance, for a UK bank. I'm hoping to use the LLM to move my career back in the direction of corporate law, and to assist me in getting a jon in the US.

Any advice or comments highly appreciated.
