Hi all,
I have just been admitted to the Berkeley's professional track. I have to submit my deposit etc by December 4th.
I would take Berkeley's traditional track over any other school, but I would probably take UCLA's Public Interest program over Berkeley's professional track. Unfortunately the professional track doesn't offer many courses that I am interested in.
I just wanted to know what the repercussions would be for me to accept the position at Berkeley and then later change my mind? I imagine that I would lose the deposit, but would there be any other consequences? Considering UCLA is a UC school, do they communicate with each other?
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
Accept admission but then you change your mind?

You would simply lose the deposit. No need to fear further retaliatory measures

Thank you for your response!
I shall accept the place and see what comes in the next few months.
