Its been a while since submission, getting anxious. Is the admissions office closed for spring break?
Posted Mar 17, 2015 11:21
Hey,
I don't think they're closed for the spring break, it seems like none of the other university's admission offices is closed either.
I have received my offer on 11 February, I've applied there in mid-December I guess.
Good luck to everyone waiting!

I submitted my application around February 2, 2015 and my status still shows verifying documents. What are the chances that they are still accepting candidates?

I emailed the Grad Office yesterday, asking if I could expect to get an answer from Cornell before the April 1st deposit deadline of the other Law Schools I've been admitted to. Their answer is: "Hi, You should be receiving a decision very soon."

Congrats! for all who made it!
Many decisions are released today and the last few weeks.
If I did not receive an admission yet, does it indicate a rejection?

--> "Our admissions decisions are rolling so you could hear from us anytime between now and the end of April."
I am not sure why Cornell takes long with its decisions.

Those admitted earlier on: our name is not stated on the attached document/ memo. A formal admission letter later. Will this happen only after we pay the deposit?

I submitted in January, yet my status is still "your application is complete". In status checker page, now they say "you should receive a decision by mid and late April".
Isn't that the first deposit deadline for Cornell is 1 April? Are we suppose to receive a decision waiting for the already admitted student?

Deadline for me is 1st of April, but no news on financial aid still... I asked a question re. this after I got admission email (a month ago). No response until now

Bird, thank you for sharing. That's what I thought. So I am a bit confused if they say that they will issue the decision in April (mid or late April).
Good luck for your financial aid.
