2015 Cornell

I understand that it should be difficult to be wait listed but at least it means that you are a qualified candidate. Did you applied to any other university? I believe that it is probable that you will get an spot. Most of the people who are admitted to Cornell are also admitted in the top schools. You just have to wait a bit more to make the right choice.

Thanks you for your kindness, Dmcj. Do you think that I should wait until I would be notified by them? What is your opinion of additional means to ease the difficulties?

It depends of your options. 1 If you applied to other programs you should wait and organize your priorities options. 2. If not, I believe that by the end of April, beginning May you will have an answer from Cornell because many people will reject or accept Cornell's offers. 3. In any case, if you don't have other alternatives this year, try the next!. If you have been waitlisted by Cornell, which is a great University, maybe you need just more time to improve your credentials for even better options in the future.

Good look!

I have been admitted today. :-)

For all those who are waiting:
------------------------------------------
My application has been received by Cornell on the 01-06-2015 and has been complete since 02-06-2015 (2x email notification).
The first status change of "current status" in the app tracker was on the 02-17-2015 and a second change followed on the 02-26-2015.
Today 02-27-2015 I received the admission email.

These periods seem to be kind of a regularity if you consider the posts above.

Good luck!

Congrats to all admitted students!

I have also been admitted and my main concern is Ithaca. I am not sure if it is a nice place to study for a year. Cornell is an amazing school and I really consider enrolling... but its location is not favorable.

Does anyone know what students at Cornell have to say about the whole experience?

Thanks in advance!

Guys, I also have been admitted to Cornell today. Congrats to all admitted and good luck to those who are waiting.

I wonder if admitted students got any info on scholarships... My admission decision says that they are considering applicants for scholarships. But no exact info for me - not clear will I get an award or not.

To all admitted students - does your admission decision contain any scholarship award?

Scholarship is important factor in making a decision to enroll. Deadline for deposit is approaching but I cannot make a decision without knowing real cost of the program. Cost without scholarship is too high.

My colleagues who were the alumni told me that they enjoyed every bit of their experience at Cornell. Because of the location, most students lived nearby the campus so they were closed to each other.

Same here, this waiting is killing me! My application still remain exactly as the first day "verifying materials". I thought that Cornell was going to be a bit faster than other Universities considering the number of applicants.

Congratulations! Any idea what time of the day your status changed?
I want to predict when in my time zone my next status change will happen.

Didn´t count the "your application is complete" change, so this is actually the third one. I think we might hear back from Cornell tomorrow!
