Didn't find a thread of Cornell this year, so I started one.

I noticed that my status date changed to 11/25 yesterday(it went complete on 10/17), judging from last year's posts, hopefully they'll start to send out decisions after Thanksgiving holiday.

Does anyone have any news from Cornell?

Same here. My application went complete on 9/25 and my status changed on the 11/25 too. Hope they won't take long to release their decisions..

I think they started to send out decisions in the first week of December last year, maybe we'll receive the result next week!

Since they only changed the status date not the status, I wonder if they just started to review applications or they have already reached a decision. Waiting is always torture haha....

I think they just begin reviewing our applications. Last year among the applicants that applied very early in the cycle (and had their status updated by the end of november), some got really quick answers (beginning of december) while others had to wait until january.

I sent my application on Oct 4th and the application was completed on Oct 17. Just like the comments above, there was a change in the status date - Nov 25th.

I read Cornell Law's webpage on LL.M FAQs during submission and noted on the two cycles of admission. However, I checked again last month and just a few minutes ago - it seemed that they withdrew the statements on cycle admissions. Also on my status page, it says that decision will come out mid April onwards.

What do you guys think? This is my second time applying and the wait is killing me.

When I applied for 2014 session, I sent in the applications back in January this year. So we know well enough that I missed the first cycle. I also didn't have the opportunity to know anyone who got admitted from first cycle. I received third status update when I got waitlisted. I guess the status gets updated every time the committee attends to your file.

Dear all, I am the 2015 applicant to Cornell LL.M. as well. My friend in Cornell LL.M. now saying that the professors in Cornell are all really busy now and they have final exams next week, thus they probably won't review the applicants files recently. Maybe we should stay calm and finger crossed to be luck!! :)

hi guys, I intend to apply for LLMs next year and as I am looking at programs now, I would like to know why you choose cornell? Are there any special reasons, or is it even your top choice? Are there better scholarships, profesors,specialisations or something? It looks like you all have applied for early review so it is your top choice (over HLS,CLS,NYU etc.). It would be great if you could give me an insight why this is so?

At the status page, they also mentioned that review of the applications begin January 1st onwards.

I wonder if they'll send a package with some materials introducing Cornell like other schools. They didn't mention this in the email
