I was considering going to Warwick but I want to work at a commercial law firm. The LLM at Warwick is in Economic law. Do you think they are too different, or do you think commercial firms would accept this?

Hi:
Honestly, I could not get much information on that, however, you may wish to email Sara at S.E.Prestleton@warwick.uk as she is the admission secretary. I am currently pursuing the course.
Best of luck....

I have just been accepted for the LLM of International Developmental Law and Human Rights starting in Oct 2011. I am keen on choosing Warwick, but I have also been accepted into Nottingham's LLM program and York's as well. Are you originally from the UK?

Dear Mkude
what do you think of the course so far , you like it ? is it difficult and do you think with this degree you have more chances of getting work in the international law field ?

Hello everyone!
I went to Warwick Uni and graduated in 2010. The course is a bit theoretical, though informative and very challenging. You may feel bored during the first lectures but it gets better as you progress. As for job prospects, I believe having attended Warwick it opens many doors.
All the best!

Thank you very much for your advice and encouragement. I am very much looking forward to all of it :) What jobs have you been looking at afterwards?

Hi,
This is great...I actually had a job lined up for me so did not go into the job search hurdles.Nonetheless, I want to expand my horizon and work in a more challenging post. Currently, I'm working with an NGO providing legal assistance. Would love to expand my scope regionally, in the continent (Africa) or globally. That's my new year resolution(sounds a bit ambitious and may be too early!phew)

I would love to talk more about your NGO work. I'm currently working in an NGO in their legal department as well--but only as an intern whilst I'm in uni. My email is: aimee.winnik@gmail.com
