UK University Scholarships

Dear all, I have the following problem: I want to make an LLM in UK but I don't have (all) the money to pay for it. I think that with all my efforts I could pay the tution or my living expenses (one thing or the other).

Also, I can't take a loan because in my country (in South America) the Euro values 4/5 times what my currency values; so, unless I could find a Job in a UK law firm, it is impossible for me to pay the loan with the salary of my country.

People: do you know what universities give good scholarships?

Thks all

P.S. of course if you know other thing that could help me, I'll be gratefull for your advise.

Hi:)
I think it varies from uni to uni. Once you decide which university you want to apply to - check their scholarship policy. But be warned, they are difficult to obtain for non-eu students.Neverthless, top unis ( e.g. LSE) offer merit awards for those coming outside the EU.

Good luck to you!:)

I know that first I have to decide wich university I want to apply to and then I have to check their scholarship policy, but the problem is that first I have to give priority to the university that usually gives scholarship, and second to the university thay i would like to choice.

So, thats the reason for my question. I need to know what universities usually give scholarship so I can apply for those!

Thks a lot for your answer

Unless you are outstanding you are not going to get a lot of money from UK universities. They are simply too poor. You would have to try outside sources. If you want scholarships and funding, I suggest a US university or even Canada (Toronto).
