UCL online application References

hi i have submitted my application to UCL but i don't think that my referees will actually complete the references and send them to UCL. I was wondering if it is possible to send them to UCL by post because i already have sealed references from my professors. I don't know what I should do can anyone help me please?

Email the graduate admissions office and they will give you the postal address that you can send hardcopy materials to. I did that and they were happy for me to send some other materials from my undergrad university (not references) by hardcopy because they were sealed.

Well I have emailed the admissions office at. Ucl and they've told me that the referees have to send the references and that I can't send them via post:/ eventually my referees have completed them!

How did you fill up the referees portion in the online application? The online application requires that you input the referees' email addresses and then UCL will email the referees. If you already sent your references by post, did you still put the email address of your referees in the online application?

Hi, I mentioned that I sent some other hardcopy materials, not references. My references were submitted electronically. Perhaps you could contact the Graduate Admissions on this, or just put a dash in the field. What happens is that UCL will automatically send a link to an online application form to the email address stated, so I would hesitate to put the addresses of your referees there since it may bother your referees.

I also faced the problem that my referees provided me with reference letters but were unwilling to log in and fill out the reference form online. Therefore I submitted a paper application. UCL offers the option to submit a paper based application by postal mail (see http://www.ucl.ac.uk/prospective-students/graduate-study/application-admission/downloadable-applications). The application fee is higher for paper based application but once submitted you do not face any disadvantages as you are also able to track the status of your application online. Therefore, I recommend to submit a paper application if your referees are not willing to support your online application.
