hi there

I also receieved an email from UCL with the attached letter recommending me to the admissions offce. I'm not sure whether I should take the risk and wait for the letter or accept my offfer from QMUL. Has anyone received their letter from UCL? Did it have any conditions?

I just got the ''informal letter of admission'' to UCL. They said an official letter should arrive by post in 6 weeks max. I've also been accepted to UofChicago so I'm in a tough spot.

Good luck to the rest of you!

Hi all. I received my formal letter of offer from UCL in the mail today with no conditions (unconditional offer). Very happy. Good luck to everyone! :)

@ grishmaahuja:

Hey!
I'm too received that informal offer letter today. Though out of all the offers I received, UCL is the best, I'm still a little unsure on whether to join the program or not coz of the high costs. Especially since they have removed the post study work visa as well, now there is a next to nothing chance of getting our investment back (and 20 lakh rupees is a hugeee investment!). What are your plans? How do you plan to fund your studies and do after after coming back to India?? And btw did your receive that official offer letter via post yet? This UCL is a bit lazy isn't it? They sent my application update 1 and half month after they promised...lol

Let me know!

The email from the Faculty from UCL is definitive.

UCL has this bizarre system where the Faculty 'decides' but admissions 'makes the offer', so the Faculty has to say that they 'recommend.'

If you get the email, you are definitely in, but the offer letter might attach conditions, of a certain grade or something.
