Hey everyone !

Does any of you know whether we can call anyone to get information as regards the status of our application ?

I don't want to seem insistent, nor stress them up, but I am actually looking forward to Cambridge's answer, as I might need to accept other offers in case I'm rejected by Cambridge. Furthermore, I must discuss funding with various private institutions and would not like to miss an opportunity due to delay issues.

Any advice is welcome !

Unfortunately we are all confronted with deadlines, funding issues and such problems. And given that they said that decisions will be released by March, I do not think that they will offer any relevant assistance - it is still very early... But you can give it a try - nothing to lose!

So, still no news from Cambridge then *sighs*.

Looks like most of us will be hearing back around February! The wait is killing me...

Have you heard of anyone being accepted yet? Maybe Mrs. Wade could tell us around when they will start sending the e-mails out? Did anyone call her?

Not news yet!! I think that no one had been accepted or rejected yet! I really hope we can have some information soon!!!

If the 2009/2010 application cycle is any prediction of the 2010/2011 cycle, then it appears admission offers trickle out via email around this time (if not earlier) and into February and beyond. But maybe this year is different, since no one is on here sharing good news. Is it still snowing in Cambridge?

Not me, of course....I've heard nothing except that my Gates application was a loser.

well term starts at cambridge on wednesday so maybe that will get the ball rolling...good luck to everyone waiting..

Term starts on Tuesday, lectures on Thursday. Suzanne Wade is already working again, however. At least she sends around emails to current LLMers.

Are the lectures poor or do you just not like lectures? Just curious---the LLM is very expensive, if I got in I'd be disappointed if the lectures were bad.

nothing wrong with lectures, some of the best i've ever had have been in cam, it's just as an undergrad there you have 3-4 hours every morning and it gets to be a bit much..

What about:

-IP law
-international law
-competition law?

Unfortunately, I don't have insight into any of those classes. I think there's a LL.M. alum who sometimes posts here who had more of a corporate focus (Private Equity, maybe?) Hopefully s/he can help.
