Best of luck to everyone here - I got rejected.

But I still have offers of international law at SOAS, intl relations at Kings and Intl Rel, Law & World Order at Reading. As fees are half price at Reading probably will go there.

All the best

Dear Zara78,
How were you notified of your rejection? I haven't heard antything from them yet.

I got an email. But if you telephone Suzanne Wade she will tell you over the phone.

now my status also says: You have been recommended or an offer subject to Board of Graduate Studies approval.

therefore, I cant see any conditions or anything...I still don't understand the difference, if the e-mail from ms. wade clearly said that i have received a conditional offer...

well...i guess it's just another long wait ahead of me :)

Hi Guys, just thought I'd let you all know that I received my formal offer letter in the post yesterday. To be honest the letter doesn't tell you anything more than the self sevice pages. My Camsis account was updated about three weeks ago now.

Hi Dionne7, I'm glad people are finally receiving their formal letters! I just wondered if yours said which college you were being considered at. In past years, it seems to have been printed on the page somewhere...?

Hey Lawgeek, the letter cc'd Gonville and Caius in, but when I spoke to Susan Wade she said that this does not mean that my application has been accepted by them, only that my application has been sent to them as it is my first choice college. So I guess it is a matter of waiting to see what the outcome is.

hi Dionne7,
Do you mind telling us what date you receive the email with conditional offer?

Hey Flowergirl, I received my conditional offer from Suzanne Wade on the 17th February.

Thanks Dionne 7. I guess someone on this post is right- there is no rhyme or reason to the timeframes to which they update camsis or send letter out.

Elizabeta, i think you don't need to worry. My understanding ( from my own interpretation after a phone call), you have a "conditional" offer and this is the same as "offer subject to BGS approval". Since it is subject to the later approval of BGS, the offer is conditional. I asked the same question as you did as I was perplexed when I was told that I don't have an offer yet (even if I am certain I got an email from Mrs. Wade). I called because I did not have camsis before and was meeting a deadline for another offer.

Another information that you may wish to know is that my camsis says "paper with degree committee" but I asked for my academic condition on the phone and they told me. Therefore, I believe there is a time lag in the updating from " paper with degree committee" to " offer suject to BGS approval." They are probably just swamped with work, emails, and phone calls. I hope these information are useful to you, Elizabeta. At the same time, I apologize for a long email that may disturb anyone.

Of course there is/are :). Although, to be honest, I don't have much-if-any hope left :).

Yes, I am still waiting too. I finally called Ms. Wade yesterday to see if I had missed something, and she said no, they are still making decisions. She said they hope to have them complete by mid-April. Maybe that means by next week?

I received an offer in Feb, however no deadlines for accepting the offers have ever been indicated.

I too received my offer in Feb, and my papers are still "with the degree committee"! I gather that unless/until I hear otherwise, the only "deadline" is fulfilling the conditions by 31 July!

Yeah apparently it says on the Cambridge website that decisions will be made until 16 April, so that's still 10 days. Good luck!

I finally got my formal offer on camsis (received the e-mail from Ms. Wade on Feb 26th). No big surprise, my only conditions are the IELTS test results and financial undertaking. Now I have to decide what I do...

Good luck to those who still have no news!
