Any asians with offers?

I haven't heard of anything and I found that Cambridge always send out offers to Asians later than applicants in other areas(refer to the situation last year). So let's wait for the good news together. By the way, where are you from?

Hi! I'm from Singapore but am currently doing my LLB in the UK.

Come on! I just called the admission office and she told me that "it is unusual to receive offers at this stage..." oh, God! She is lying...

Oh no, I hope she didn't lie to me, saying they would send me an answer by the end of february (date when I have to accept the offer from King's) ;-(

Does anyone know when we might hear about our college choices? I am quite excited about hearing whether either of my choices will accept me!

@ Cantab2011: I only know of two UK scholarships for European students: the Gates Cambridge Scholarships (but you surely applied for it the same time you applied for Cambridge) and the AHRC scholarship (Arts and Humanities Research Council) of the British government, but I think the deadline was somewhen in january.
After that, it depends on which country you're from, you should check on the scholarships available in your country.

Nothing from the Cambridge Trust yet... how did you hear about your unsuccessful college application? Which one was it, if I may ask?

I am sure your second choice will work out! Did you see this on Camsis? My status still says "Papers with Degree Committee" although I received an offer 10 days ago..

actually i think you received your Camsis update ages ago? Most of us got notified directly by the Faculty and most of our Camsis have not even changed from "Papers with Degree Committee" to conditional offer or whatever?

Got my conditional offer today ;-). Via mail from Mrs. Wade (shw27@cam.ac.uk). My self service page hasn't changed yet.
Nevertheless, I'm rather worried, I already submitted my degree results and an IELTS results of 8 points, which should be sufficient. I wonder, what their conditions may be?
Any clues?

@cantab2011: thanks ;-). Yes, I read that, now I'm less worried. Also it was said, that the application deadline for the AHRC scholarship is 4th march, not in january as I told you!!

I think, we should start a facebook group with all guys from the blog - idea for the name: "papers with degree committee"
