Hi, For the EAS application for shared scholarship, there is no reference for MCL. Does this mean MCL candidates are not eligible? Or they have to apply as LLM candidate? Has anyone clarified this issue with the university?

@ walking.aroundThanks!
Got it off the webbie: http://www.admin.cam.ac.uk/offices/gradstud/meetings/pdf/meetingdates201112.pdf
My assumption is that the student registry obtains approval to send out formal offers at these BOGS meetings.
Hopefully they will clear what has been left since the last meeting all at once... but since some ppl wait for more than 4 weeks I suppose they will just try their best lol

Hey, all of us accepted for the MCL course should form a group on facebook (if there isn't already one). At lease we can get to know each other before the course begins!
Hi, I absolutely agree!!! I will be happy to get to know each MCL student!

hello everybody!
does anyone know how the accommodation system works? do you necessarily have to live in college accommodations or can you decline college rooms and find a separate accommodation within the 10-mile radius from the university?
thanks a lot

hello everybody!I am not too sure but I suspect it depends rather on each individual college's policy.

But I think one of the best things about studying at uni like Oxbridge is the opportunity to live in those lovely colleges, y don't just give it a try? ;-)

Congrats! Would you mind sharing with us the following details: when did you get the acceptance email from Ms Wade? When did you formally accept Cambridge's offer, if you did? Has your Camsis status been updated to « seeking college membership » or anything else before hearing from your College?
It would be very helpful to those of us wondering about what happens after receiving Ms Wade's informal acceptance email!

Hey there,
I am a little lost here. I was made a conditional offer 2 weeks ago. I want to how does one ACCEPT the offer? Do I have to write back to Ms. Wade or wait till I get admitted to a particular college and then confirm?
Please let me know, whoever had accepted the offer.
Many thanks.
M

For one thing you have to accept the offer on Camsis, but the offer only shows up on Camsis a while after Ms. Wade's email (6 weeks or more, based on what I have read). So until it shows up, you have to wait. And I really do not think that replying to Ms Wade is mandatory. Camsis is really all that matters.

Informal e-mail from Ms. Wade: 20 February 2012
conditional offer e-mail from BoGS: 26 March 2012
I do not remember when my status changed to "seeking college membership". I guess as soon as CamSYS stated the conditional offer.
Got a status change some 10 days ago that my application was unsuccessful at Corpus Christi, while today my status changed to "accepted by Queens' College", which made me check my e-mails where I found the nice e-mail from Queens' (which made me quite happy).

@Myxomatosis, Frontal
thanks for the time lol
just quite anxious about the academic conditions after reading previous years' posts...
and hopefully some financial aids may still be available if it takes a month to give the formal cond. offer....

Hi,
I am feeling rather worried. Nothing has changed in my Camsis status. I received my conditional offer before 14th Apr. Is there anything i should do? or should i just wait....

I am in the same position. E-mail was sent 17 March, and still, my Camsis only shows "under consideration by degree commitee".
Just wait, I say. Is anyone in the same position, especially those who received the email in March or even earlier?
