hehe
Well, I guess we can speak plain Portuguese here
Eduardo Pohlmann, meu caro!

Thanks for the "infamous", mate! It adds a lot to my cv.

Got an email notifying me of a conditional offer this morning. Can't believe it! Don't know what the conditions are yet. Still waiting to see the change in Camsis. I'm from China btw.

Is there any applicant from Greece with a response of any kind regarding the LLM course?
Posted Mar 29, 2012 02:25
I called the Faculty and spoke to Ms Wade yesterday. She was really helpful.According to her, they have got more places that they've not given out yet as the Degree Comm is still considering some applications. So no news, does not necessarily mean bad news.

Guys, you can join the Facebook page for the incoming LL.M. class and ask questions to some of the current Ph.D. and LL.M. students there: http://www.facebook.com/groups/358781647466806/

Hi Guys,
I have read with keen interest and observed the anxiety built over the past few weeks by reason of non-receipt of either offer letters or rejection. I therefore feel it is necessary to say sometime.
As someone who has had an experience, twice on this admission circle (admitted last year and this year too), take it from me that Cambridge will continue to dispatch offers until June/July 2012. I got mine sometime in late May 2011, although I couldnt make due to funding challenges.
So please, except you have recieved a rejection letter, keep the hope alive.
Regards.

Well, I had to decide between MJur and MCL, did not apply for MLF because it's not very law-related and decided for MCL (although you cannot opt for a dissertation here) because in 2012-2013 Oxford does not offer to MJur students the European and Comparative Corporate Law course and most probably no undergrad company law courses and I had my doubts on the approval of my thesis proposal on these subjects due to the number of students and possible lack of sufficient number of supervisors as per Ms Biese's answers. So, that somehow facilitated my choice:)
I intend to further my study with a PhD and switch to academia on corporate law. I agree that the small number of students and the focused curriculum is indeed an advantage for both corporate lawyers and future academics. In addition, the term end-examination is a very comfortable choice for students in comparison to year-end exams.
I indicated Clare College as my first preference and no news so far. For graduate level, the college doesn't really matter as far as I know. But, best of luck for your second choice anyway:)
