I am interested in doing my LLM at Swansea- heard so many positive things from my current employer and others about the programmes especially the fact that they are very practical and provide good links with legal practice and industry especially shipping and insurance ones. Anyone has direct or indirect experience? .

I would say that Swansea is a good school for its Maritime Law LLM but if you were interested in a different specialization then there are probably better schools out there. For Maritime Law, you can also consider Southampton.

Hi there
I did my LLM at Swansea in Commercial & Maritime Law. It was a very good experience. Very practical course, taught by Experts in the field and designed to get youa place in the maritime world- I strongly recommend it!

Personally I would definitely recommend Swansea if you wanted to do an LLM in maritime law. Out of the all the universities I applied to, I chose Swansea because I heard the same things about their practical approach and links with practice. Best decision I had ever made!
