for IP QM is arguably the best in London and highly regarded in Europe. Kings is extremely good in finance law and is more reputed overall as a law department and university than the former.
In any case lectures will only take place for 9-12 hrs per week with additional tutorials forthnightly and other academic support. therefore everything depends upon your self study.

I would rather address your second query first. If your motive is to hunt for a job in UK legal sector then LLM from anywhere wont serve much purpose. Rather its better to go for GDL + LPC for solicitorship or GDL + BPTC for being a barrister, all of which are for two years. If you're already enrolled in any of the bar in India then you can appear for QLTS I believe. You can seek further information from www.sra.org.uk. If you apply for a traineeship in any of the firms in UK and succeed in bagging one then they will sponsor your whole course which will start from 2013 if you apply now. In case of barrister, the chamber will only provide you funds for BPTC which means you will have to pay from your own pocket fo GDL at first and then after clearing that you can apply for pupillage in any of the chambers. However for a legal position in any corporate sector/companies there are no such requisites. There are some schools which provide such courses along with LLM simultaneously such as City Univ, Nottingham Trent, Cardiff but I'm not sure how credible are they. LLM being specifically an academic degree wont be given much weightage compared to your LLB ( which is your qualifying degree) as far as the profession is concerned.
Secondly, Business Law programme in QM is ok but nothing great.

Hi everyone
I'm spanish and I have just received a condicional offer for the general LLM. I have to think about, but I'll probably accept it. I'm on my last year at university and quite nervous and excited!
I have a doubt about location: we are supposed to have most of the classes at Lincoln Inn Fields near Covent Garden, but the main QM campus is at Mile End right? I know that we have several accomodation options, both in the city centre and in the campus, what will you choose? I would like to live with other international and national students, anyone knows what would be the best place for this?
Thanks a lot!

Hi leeco, well I heard that lincoln's inn is just a bus away from mile end,so transportation should not be a problem, and I guess if you stay on the campus(mile end),it will give you the opportunity you need to interact with other international students, coupled with the fact that u don't have to worry bout paying for bills and stuffs like that! I heard that It's about 30 minutes bus ride from Mile end to Bloomsbury. I don't know if I am up for it. and usually the accommodation in campus is filled with very young and noisy undergraduates.
I guess It all depends on how many classes will we have to take in Bloomsbury. Does anyone know?

Hi,
I have also accepted my conditional offer from QMUL. I was wondering what are all of u doing about the accommodation bit.Would a campus accomodation be better or sharing a flat.

Hi Urvashi,
Their campus accommodation looks pretty good. Also, a flat will turn out to be more expensive and if you don't get along with your roommates, you're stuck!
