not much - to be honest. that's why most overseas students plan to go back home after they graduate.

Have you ever heard of LLM graduates who got a training contract, took the GDL/CPE and then the LPC and qualified as solicitor in the UK?

indeed the training contract would be a good way to sort it out, weren't for the year gap that most of times you have to wait for. this of course if you haven't studied your undergraduate in uk and have therefore applied for a training contract before your llm!
otherwise, if you're qualified in your own jurisdiction - like me - you can try and look for some big international firm which can be interested in overseas lawyers; however often the structure will tend to send you to a branch in your own country.
will see what happens at the end...

Hi Pappu, we've discussed this a little already elsewhere, but I thought there would be use in posting a little here.
Not everyone who completes an LL.M will practice law. LL.M have practical applications in fields such as Marketing, Publishing, Media, other creative industries, knowledge or technology transfer organisations, pharma industries, economics, medical practice and so on. You could also consider a career in academia!
With respects a career in Law in the UK, you'd be better off moving from an LL.B in to a Legal Practice Diploma or Certificate and then completing the training requirements for lawyers, which differ depending on where you are in the UK.
