I recently finished my 3 year LLB degree with a 2:2 honors from the University of London International Programme. I currently reside in Mauritus.
I now wish to complete the vocational stage of my training, the Bar Professional Training Course.
However, I am finding it difficult to get any centralized source of information where I could get a range of options to complete my BPTC, with the prices and eligibility criteria they entail.
The expenses involved with doing the BPTC in England are also very high, and I would like to know if there are less expensive but similarly valued options elsewhere(perhaps even other countries), or scholarships or options that could offset those expenses.
Would doing the BPTC in England, my home country or elsewhere have any weight internationally?
The University of Mauritius is an option too if I wish to practice law in my home country, but for the sake of experience and broadening my horizons I would like to, as far as possible, study elsewhere, but it must be financially viable to do so.
I would greatly appreciate any help that anyone here could give, be it advice from their personal experience with the BPTC or links to websites that specialize in this issue or offer further advice.
