PHD in LSE

Tomi

I am considering accepting Lse offer. However, I wanna know if someone has any information regarding the chances to continue to PHD after I will finish the LLM. Any comments? For example, how many students each year are admitted to PHD, etc.
Thanks very much for the help.

Hi Tomi,

I am thinking of doing a PhD myself after the LLM. As far as I can tell your chances depend on tailoring a research proposal to a supervisor at your chosen university. This is crucial at a UK university and slightly different from other systems such as the US. Also, the LSE do expect you to gain at least a 68% score in your LLM dissertation. So I think you will need to work hard this year!! :-) but I'm sure you will be fine.
