Hi, I just found out that I've been wait listed for the human rights MSt until the second round of admissions. Does anyone have any insight as to the chances of acceptance once waitlisted? Anything I can do to improve my chances (e.g. on-campus interview)? Any advice is much appreciated!

nothing you can do, i imagine, but sit tight. perhaps write a letter to them around march saying you are still interested in the programme and that it is your top choice. places may become available. i was admitted for the programme last year in december and ultimately did not enroll, so it does happen. good luck with everything!

I know it's a long time ago now but were you admitted?
I am in the same position and was wondering what the chances are
Thanks

Hi there. I found out I was accepted during the last round of admissions and have really enjoyed the program. I really don't have much insight into your chances. I think it really depends on the demographics from year to year. My buddy applied the next year and received a rejection without being waitlisted but was accepted into Cambridge's full-time program. It may just come down to whether you fit a certain demographic they're looking for in order to assemble a diverse cohort. Feel free to ask me any questions about the program. Good luck!

Thanks very much for replying. There is very little information out there on the wait list process. Interesting to hear about your friend, yes i suppose it just depends on who they want at a given time. I'll save any questions about the program until I see whether I am admitted or not. Thanks for the offer though. I'm glad to hear you have enjoyed the program.

I've just got an email to say I've been put on the waiting list for this programme. Feeling disappointed, but still in the game I suppose...

Hi mrj,
I think I might have sent you a personal message by accident instead of replying on this thread.
Sorry to hear you got a rejection. I fear the same result for myself!
How did you find out there are 10 people on the waiting list? It seems a lot for a course with only 30 places!

Hi everybody. I have alse received a letter telling me I was on the waiting list. It was dated April 16, and I'm still waiting.
How long do you think it will be reasonable to wait? Do you know of someone who was admitted after being in the list, say, in these days?
Thanks for answering. Good luck to you all!
