Oxford- submitting of written paper in the application process?

I read in one of the booklets found at the homepage of the University of Oxford, that in order to apply for the Mjur/BCL you need to submit an example of your written work.

Is this correct? This would be a problem as most students in Norway do not publish anything.

I red it too and I'm in the same position... actually, I think I'm going to translate a paragraph of the dissertation I had to write in order to complete my undergraduate studies, or I'll write something new. 2,000 words are not much

Hello guys!

I am applying to Oxford this year. I am thinking about submitting an extract from a longer essay . In the Admission Web Page they say that the work should be prefaced with a note giving some context. But I don't know whether this preface should be written in a footnote or it could be something like in the first page of the document.

Do you guys have any idea on how to preface these written works
