I need honest advice. Between Cam and Oxon where should i go assuming both admit me for LLM/BCL. I am african, if that helps, and i am interested in Business and Corporate practice, although i may also opt for law teaching.

Hi awojc, I found this information online. Hope this helps you decide:

Oxford and Cambridge are practically the same in terms of academic acheivement: you can see this in league tables in which they're constantly battling over 1st, often seperated only by negligible amounts.

So, when choosing whether to apply to Oxford or Cambridge, try to focus of other questions such as: Which University offers my course? Which course do I prefer? Which University do I feel more at home at? What extra-curricular activities are available at each University? etc.

I actually consider both are excellent, so now you have to focus more on the professors that will be teaching you (their reputation, etc), if you like better living in cambridge or oxford (which of the two seems nicer to you), which one offer better and cheaper accommodation and/or tuitin fees, which one has the strongest student union (so that you can join some extracurricular activites, such as joining a debate society, among others), careers service!! (which one offers more internships to students/career opportunities.

Hope this truly helps you. Lets wait for people who knows more than me about the subject but I really think both are EXCELLENT CHOICES and you are very lucky for being admitted to both. Good luck to you! :O)
