I note in the letter that Advanced Property and Trusts is not running. What a shame :(

You can always take Roman Tort Law....

"One candidate took the exam. The choice of questions was evenly spread insofar as this can be said with one candidate. The result was excellent."

Congratulations to all BCL offer-holders, and commiserations to those who weren't successful. Has anyone heard anything re DPhil applications?

I think it is ok to be rejected by Harvard but accepted by Oxford, I'm on the same page with you. But I've received a more interesting rejection: LSE

I guess there is absolutely no way to predict what goes through the admission office people's heads..

Haven't heard a thing yet, I was hoping they send out decisions with the MJur/BCL...

Got rejected for the BCL. Looks like it's going to be the Cantab LLM for me. Congratulations to those with offers.

Does anyone (particularly those who have gone through the process) know how college placement works? I selected one of the notoriously popular colleges as my preference and I am concerned that if I don't get in I will be shuttled straightaway to one of the modern exclusively graduate colleges (although I recognise that there are benefits to this).

Also, how long did it take you to hear? From last year's thread it looks like admittees began to hear from some schools the very next week.

Many thanks for any information!

Do they send the decisions by email? Haven´t hear anything yet. I applied for the BCL.

Fair enough, just looked at this thread for the first time today and was surprised that so many people already received offers/rejections. I have spent the past few weeks worrying about Cambridge and for some reason assumed that Oxford would not be releasing their decisions for some time. I wonder if this silence is a good or a bad sign. Is there still someone in the same boat as me?

As everyone begins to hear back from colleges it might be useful to have a Facebook group?

In addition to simple curiosity there are practical benefits as so much funding is from college.

Me neither - I was told last week that I should hear from a college "in the not too distant future", though; so perhaps the six-eight week wait quoted is a little on the long side.

I totally agree, could you create the group? I'm not very well acquainted with Facebook options.

I can do this as well but I need at least one admitted person among my friends on Facebook. Anyone interested in establishing a group please PM me.
