Nope, still nothing. Any law DPhils heard anything about funding?

Last year we went well into the summer without confirmation in many cases. Some people got details on scholarships as they came due, but for a lot of people there was no confirmation on funding (or lack thereof) until very late in the process.

ah ok good to know, thank you! In the offer letter they said we would hear by early May, but in a follow up email last week they basically told me no scholarships have been announced and budgets haven't been set. So who knows...

Was this email sent by the Law Faculty or did you write to someone in the Law Faculty about this (and if yes, could you please share the email, thanks)?

You need to follow up with the person who sent you the admission email from the Law Faculty. You will not get anyone else to give you any more details... Only thing I would do if that is not working for you is to reach out to the prof who is going to be your supervisor and explain the situation. They may be able to put some pressure on the Law Faculty to confirm the situation.

Curious if any DPhil Law offer holders have heard anything about faculty scholarships?
Posted Jun 11, 2021 01:14
The last time I messaged them (20 May 2021), I received the the following response: "I’m afraid it’s just taking time to establish the budget we have available for scholarships and exactly how that is to be deployed; I hope to have news either before the end of the week or early next week." This was 20 May 2021. It has been radio silence since.

Ok its good to know a lot of people are in the same boat. I got the same response from them last week.
My supervisor checked in with me yesterday and told me that she doubts anything is left - and I was like ummm I'm pretty sure the admin staff said the process hasn't even started...
good luck and keep us posted :)

Has anyone heard anything yet?

They just communicated the faculty scholarships to current students. So I'm assuming you should be hearing shortly if you got lucky.
